Description
Compliance Coal Corp.'s proposed Raven Underground Coal Mine is a 3 000 tonnes per day coal mine in the Comox Valley Regional District on eastern Vancouver Island. The proposal consists of an underground coal mine; a coal preparation plant; piles for earth and coarse and fine rejects; a power supply and distribution system; sewage treatment facilities; a tank farm; and ponds for water management.
