Description
First Coal Corp.'s proposed Central South Coal Mine has a production rate of 1.5 million t/y and is located approximately 60 km west of Chetwynd, British Columbia. The proposal consists of trench excavations and remotely operated underground mining, a coal preparation plant, a power line from the BC Hydro grid, new and upgraded road construction, mine ancillary facilities, waste dumps and water collection and sedimentation facilities, rail load-out and operations camp.
