Project Description
Avanti Mining Inc.'s Kitsault Molybdenum Mine is a proposal to re-open an existing molybdenum mine located approximately 140 km north of Prince Rupert. The mine would have a production capacity of 40 000-50,000 tonnes per day for an estimated mine life of 16 years. The proposal consists of the expansion of the historic open pit, a processing plant, a tailings impoundment area, an explosives manufacturing facility and other ancillary infrastructure.
