Project Description
Arctos Anthracite Joint Venture proposes the construction, operation and decommissioning of an anthracite coal mine that would produce about 3 million tonnes per year over a mine life of approximately 25 years located at 160 km northeast of Stewart, BC. The proposed project would also include constructing a 147 kilometre extension to an existing railway.
